The Palace of Culture in Abidjan, as part of its policy of promoting culture, initiates theater seasons, traditional and contemporary dances each year..

This action seeks to democratize culture and create or recreate the habit of attendance at theaters to the public.

In the wake of the 2006-2007 edition, this new season will be marked by openness and a certain eclecticism: an invitation to relive the events of the French colonization in Haiti Toussaint Louverture. The 2007-2008 season will be broad and open to the greatest number.

For the programming of the 2009-2010 season, after " Islands of Storm " by Bernard B Dadie (theatrical season of the year 2006-2007) and " Heremankono (Waiting for Happiness). " (theatrical season 2007-2009) Diegou Bailly part in the poster " The Malice of Men " is a work of Jean Pierre GUINGANE in staging Sidiki Bakaba.

Wanting to avoid the massacre, All Saints' day Louverture works to control the final phase.Tracked de.toutes.parts, it has only 1800 white soldiers to calm the revolt.Anxious of the holocaust that the chestnuts organized, the Sonthonax police chief proclaims on August 29, 1793, general stamping. The battle for freedom is gained; that for independence starts...
