In the backdrop of a dilapidated shack in the ghetto moods burial of human bones, three characters try to mend what is in them bits of life, humanity and contradictions. They seem to have crossed a thousand lives and came after themselves. A wife Badibadi. A husband Topitopi. The friend of the couple: Opolo. And later, the wife of Opolo, the bride lookalike Badibadi; fourth person.
Psychedelic atmosphere, lively dialogue to speak of common, sometimes raw. The story moves off on a routine case of bread. Succession said and unsaid. The trio collides. It binds and loosens connects.

Venus's past conduct as a silent film images of the early days of cinema, they are reborn in this and walk towards a future hypothetical hyperbolic.

In this kind of subversion of codes radiating part of Koffi Kwahulé, the unreal mingles with reality. Badibadi, pregnant piss crude oil as it can disassemble and assemble his belly. They decide to tap the vein ...

But in the unbridled quest for profit, man no longer counts. It is any object caught in the grip of the whirlwind of speculation, in a democracy as totalitarian regime, trapped in a culture hungry for information ... even sensational false.

Then this paradise of black gold fizzled. Badibadi dies and turns into a pot of orchid.

In the oil rush in the human mystery of the female orchid, there is only one step. But for this new venture takes shape, it must become embedded in a country, a country of excess where the wildest dreams scrape the sky. So for the ingenious Opolo, the bride and Topitopi contemplating remarrying, the furrows of a new destiny emerge as the vertigo of an endless spiral, a vicious circle: they must therefore America.

Sidiki BAKABA

" WE NEED AMERICA "

Everything starts with bread, fresh bread, good bread Topitopi and Badibadi, his pregnant wife, Opolo share with the family friend. Without stalling bellies, good bread is an excuse to talk shop. But the miracle comes through Badibadi. The miracle l 'smell of oil. Yes! Badibadi piss oil!

"We need America" is a comic and tragic plays and plays with the absurd, the human in its dehumanization. It is a work jerky, unpredictable as a jazz improvisation, music that sowing a frenzy of swing and blues of a caress. An outsized room, three tables, hilarious, fiercely engaging and relaxed.
