GUEDEBA Martin, KOUADIO Blaise, Adama DAHICO and Students of the actor Studio

"Dad God" of French Louis FIR, Conceived and directed by Sidiki Bakaba, it has been interpreted by the biggest names in theater as Ivorian Guédeba Martin Kouadio Blaise, Adama Dahico and students from the Actor Studio.

It started in January 2001 with "That's the same!" A monumental fresco on Africa, particularly Côte d'Ivoire, from slavery to the Forum for National Reconciliation, through colonization, neo-colonialism, independence and the era of democracy. Conceived and directed by Sidiki Bakaba, it has been interpreted by the biggest names in theater as Ivorian Guédeba Martin Kouadio Blaise, Adama Dahico and students from the Actor Studio.

Two other pieces were also made during this first season: "Papa God" of French Louis FIR, staged by Sidiki Bakaba and "Man on the parapet of the bridge" is also a French author, Guy FOISSY , directed by Sidiki Bakaba and interpreted by Adama Dahico and two actors outside the Palais Ignatius Alomo and Amadou Souane.

Placed under the banner of "historical drama" The 2002-2003 season was provided for the creation of three large rooms talking about history: "The Exile of Albouri" the Senegalese Cheikh Aliou NDAO the French conquest of the kingdom of Yang Yang (Djoloff, Senegal), whose performances have started since June 14; "Sundiata, the Lion of Mali" Laurent Gbagbo on one of the most famous of the pre-colonial Africa: Sundiata Keita finally "Storm Island" by Bernard Binlin DADIÉ on Haiti of Toussaint Louverture.

Although this season has been severely disrupted by the crisis, we expect to maintain this program will be enriched even a fourth part: "The Child of the sea" by Jules Supervielle on the nativity. This piece is part of a new experience of presenting a creation in connection with a religious holiday: Christmas, Easter, etc.. Thus, "The Child of the sea" will be presented by next Christmas.

Finally, students from the Actor Studio can create this season as part of their training, a "work self" to be presented as a "creation of end of study.
