40 years after its independence, Côte d'Ivoire has got a huge cultural complex which aim is to promote the excellence of Ivorian culture and allow the inter cultural dialogue of Ivorian people with other peoples of the world.

The result of the Ivorian-Chinese cooperation, the construction works of the complex began, for the first phase-building of the great building-, on October 1999. Today, the building is finished, situated between the two bridges Houphouet Boigny and General de Gaulle on the lagoon front (treichville). The building, in an Akan royal seat form, is an imposing architectural jewel. Built on a 12000 m2 site, the complex possesses many rooms and show spaces.

To those rooms and spaces, we have to add Jean Marie Adiaffi meeting room (50 seats), the great entrance hall, some terraces, the huge square, and horses's ranch.

A prestigious culture temple, the palace of the culture of Abidjan is a marvelous place for any artistic and socio professional activity. Its central geographical situation, its easy accessibility and the guaranty of security of its closed area remain the main favor.
